Which cameras work with Reolink RLN8-410?

The useful question is not simply whether a camera says “Reolink compatible”. It is whether the exact camera is documented for the RLN8-410 scope you actually own.

CameraCompat keeps hardware and firmware scope visible because the same recorder family can span multiple revisions and support boundaries.

Before buying a replacement or expansion camera, identify the recorder’s Hardware No. and current firmware. Do not assume every unit named RLN8-410 has the same compatibility envelope.

Reviewed RLN8-410 camera relationships

These entries come from CameraCompat’s published relationship data. UNKNOWN means the reviewed evidence is not sufficient for an overall conclusion.

Why the hardware revision matters

Reolink publishes hardware-version-specific NVR guidance. CameraCompat therefore treats revision scope as part of the relationship whenever the source does. This is especially important when adding newer high-resolution, multi-lens or feature-rich cameras to an older recorder.

Channel count is a separate constraint

Network topology and camera compatibility do not automatically expand recorder capacity. Before adding cameras through a PoE switch or LAN, verify the channel limits for the exact NVR hardware and configuration.

Why this page exists

A recurring source of confusion is buying by the RLN8-410 family name while overlooking the hardware revision. This guide is deliberately revision-aware so a broad product label does not become a false guarantee.

What the reviewed data supports

Compatibility statuses, feature states and product capability values shown on this page come from CameraCompat's reviewed public data.

What remains uncertain

Unlisted models, missing capabilities and absent relationships remain unresolved. They are not inferred from a sibling model, a protocol logo or a brand-wide assumption.

Frequently asked questions

Does every RLN8-410 support the same cameras?

No such universal claim is made. Reolink publishes hardware-version-specific guidance, and CameraCompat preserves hardware scope when it is part of the evidence.

Can I add a PoE switch to support more cameras?

A PoE switch can change power and network topology, but recorder channel limits and camera support still need to be checked separately.

Does RLN8-410 support Duo or TrackMix cameras?

Support depends on the exact recorder and camera scope. Use the reviewed relationship when available rather than applying one answer to every RLN8-410 revision.

Can I use a third-party camera?

CameraCompat only states third-party compatibility when reviewed evidence supports the exact path. A generic ONVIF claim is not treated as full recorder compatibility.
